National Coin Week has been a long-standing tradition in the numismatic community, celebrating the art, history, and cultural significance of coins and currency for the past century.
During National Coin Week we take the opportunity to reflect on the evolution of numismatics and the role it has played in connecting collectors, enthusiasts, and the public.
Online Learning
Enjoy online courses and lectures from fellow collectors and professional numismatists, or participate in the ANA’s Numismatic Diploma Program, providing individuals the opportunity to obtain a “Numismatic Scholar” certificate by completing a series of correspondence courses, hands-on seminars or a combination of the two.

ANA members can earn a “Numismatic Scholar” certificate through online courses. The first course launches on April 29, 2024, with subsequent courses released every 6-8 months.
